  I will never go back. Due to medical reasons, I tried to not cancel, but freeze my membership until I was well enough to attend again. The owner, Athena told me the payments would continue but months would be added on to the end of my membership. She then rudely told me to refer to the contract. I read over the contract with my sister who is a contract lawyer and it said that cancellation was possible with a doctors note. I did exactly as the contract said and the owner had the nerve to ask me to tell my doctor to reword the note so she’d know I’m telling the truth. Even after I did so, I got no response from her. I keep calling and sending emails. I’m not sure if she thinks I have my own prescription pad or something, but I know that even though I love kickboxing, I’ll never return to this establishment as long as Athena is running it. BEWARE: she will act friendly and organized to draw you in, but as soon as you’re a member you’ll never have quality customer service again.
